Children and games

Children and young people are spending more and more time on computer games. They plays so much as a third of boys in secondary school games every day, figures show NOVA. Twelve percent of those playing more than three hours daily.
I think that the developement is scary. A lot of children are dependent to play games. There are many articles in the news about computer games, for example: World of Warcraft
I have talked to a friend of me, and he told me that WOW is not good for children. He play WOW, but he is a adult... I meen that he is dependent to WOW...but I'm not sure that he's agree.
Anyway...he told me about WOW, and showed me som videos. And my conclusion is that WOW should have been forbidden for children and young people.
But for adults I have nothing against this style of gaming, in fact I think they are high art as gaming goes. Games are ment to be compelling and enjoyable and these games are all of that and bag a holding, but they are not for children and young people.
In most of the games children can learn somthing positiv, but we cant'n risk that they will get dependent. They're parents have to have controll over what the do on the computer, and it's the parents responsibility to get information about games and stuff like that.

Here is a video from WOW:
